About Dino Fiumara
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Dino has been exposed to a rich environment of music, art and theater since he was a child. Dino learned piano from his grandmother, Susan Fiumara, a tremendously accomplished classical pianist and opera singer, as well as studying music and jazz with his amazing father, was a in-demand jazz bassist, educator and the founder of BSX BASS. Dino went on to study and hone his craft at Duquesne University, earning a B.A.S. degree in music.
Dino’s music is an upbeat infusion of styles drawing inspiration from the smooth voices of Michael Buble, Jammie Cullum, and hints of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, while his Piano Style varies from jazz greats such as Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Michel Camilo and Contemporary Pop Groups like Chicago, Level 42, and Pop Composers like David Pack and Peter Cetera.
JAZZBOY has toured extensively in South East asia and has had the privilege of performing with Louis Soliano, Eddie Layman, Christy Smith, Tony Williams, Chris Vadala, Stanley Turrentine and Roger Humphries… to name a few…..
His second album, “Heaven Knows”, is currently in production and will be released in 2018, AND…….it’s gonna be HOT 🙂
