Saint Benjamin is the onstage persona of Bay Area native, Benjamin La Mar IX. As a solo artist, Saint Benjamin draws from his influences, Ed Sheeran and Rex Orange County, to create an indie pop/singer songwriter sound all of his own. Combining smooth vocals, catchy melodies, and a twist of jazz, his music is a fun yet sophisticated experience.
Saint Benjamin aims to connect with listeners not only through his lyrics but through the music itself. His debut self-titled EP was released in mid-July and he hopes fans can feel and relate to the emotions he puts forth in the songs.
Outside of music, Ben enjoys Star Wars and let’s just say you should brush up on your Star Wars knowledge if you want to face him in trivia.
